Scott Thomas
Scott Thomas is an AI Systems Architect in Intel's Health and Life Sciences group, leveraging 30+ years of embedded computing expertise to advance medical devices through AI technology. He has contributed to diverse medical systems including C-arm X-ray machines, ultrasound devices, endoscopes, and surgical robotics.
Previously, Scott led global UHF RFID deployments across multiple industries and countries, served as a technical consultant for Intel's Professional Services Group, and contributed to industrial automation and ERP systems. He holds six patents in camera and sensor technology and a BSE in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University.
His unique blend of healthcare AI expertise, global deployment experience, and manufacturing systems knowledge provides valuable insights into advanced computing technologies and medical device development. Outside work, Scott enjoys building interactive robots and traveling with his wife.
